  • Hollywood couldn’t dream up a character more fabulous than Karl Lagerfeld. The icon has died in Paris signalling the end of a spectacular career that included his celebrated reign at #Chanel, #Fendi and numerous gigs from photography to private label collections. I was fortunate to interview him a number of times. He was viciously funny, outspoken and clever - he didn’t suffer fools gladly, and would dismiss his handlers if he was enjoying the chat. There will be no one like him - much copied, respected, feared and praised. Lagerfeld became as much of a celebrity as his supermodels and front row clients. I met him the first time in NYC in 2005 for the @chanelofficial exhibit @metmuseum - and then again at many shows. I am in awe. Farewell Karl. 823 36
  • I always love the memories dished up by Instagram. I snapped this candid of model @liuwenlw in Old Montreal in April 2015 from the window of the styling trailer. We had a great day shooting with @maxabadian for Holt Renfrew. Such a lovely woman, full of sweet grace. 118 4
  • Books are my true love - after my guy and Raffi of course! Thank you @houseofanansi for the advance copy of Autopsy of a Boring Wife by Canadian author Marie-Renee Lavoie. This novel - available mid-March - is described as a Québécois comparison to Bridget Jones’s Diary. I’m in! Packing this one for my flight West later this week. #tantrumreads 105 3

  • Spending a lazy day fully engrossed in my latest read. It’s not exactly a beach novel, but it came very highly recommended. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon grabbed me on page 6 with this lyrical description of reading - “between those covers of each of those books lay a boundless universe waiting to be discovered”. That’s why I love reading so much - for its ability to be transported somewhere in a few sentences. In this case - misty Barcelona in the 1950s. I’m reading this one slowly to savour every beautifully written page. #tantrumreads #tantrumtravels 258 10
